Hi there, my name is Sarah Caicedo and I am currently a 5th grade teacher at Apollo Elementary. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and English as a Second Language. I am originally from Milwaukee, WI but now reside in the city of Chicago. In my free time, I love taking fitness classes, trying new restaurants around the city, and traveling to new places.

Growing up in a family of educators, I knew becoming a teacher was something I was meant to do. I am highly motivated to give back and seek opportunities to guide others in developing positive, productive, and compassionate character as well as the desire to learn. Central to my educational philosophy is the belief that all students can learn with strategic planning, proper differentiation, and unconditional support from their teacher both inside and outside the classroom. I will strive to make my classroom a place where all students' differences are celebrated and embraced.
