Apollo Families,

I hope your family had a great weekend and Mother's Day. Thank you to all of the families who came to Dee Park on Saturday. It was such a fun day together!

Here are a few updates for the week:

  • The Spring Music Concert is this Friday! K-2 will perform at 9:00 AM, and 3-5  will perform at 10:00. We hope to see you there!

  • The last PTO meeting of the year is on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Join us in-person or virtually (using this link). During this meeting, we will vote on the PTO Board (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer), prepare for multicultural night, and discuss ideas for upcoming PTO events. Everyone is invited to attend.

  • Summer Book Swap starts tomorrow! Please send in any books from home that your child has finished reading to pass on to another Apollo student. Collection boxes will be in the main office. On June 3rd, we will put all the collected books out for students to browse and bring home "new" books for the summer! 

  • The D63 Charity Basketball Game is on Friday at Gemini Middle School. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased using cash in Ms. Shakro's classroom or on Pushcoin. Come cheer on the teachers, sit with our Apollo families, and enjoy a great game of basketball. All proceeds benefit the Josselyn Center.
